I auditioned for a Time Warner Cable (Roadrunner - internet) commercial last Wed., 10/4. It was the third time I had gone in to Lisa Fields Casting. I'd really like to book one through this office; they keep calling me in so they must like my look at least. Lisa Fields also cast the new movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. The guy running the camera during my audition was in the movie (he was one of the few that didn't die by the way). My friend Kathy Lamkin was also in the movie and she did a great job, and definitely added some comic relief.

I'm totally infatuated with Diora Baird now. Look her up on imdb.com.

I interviewed for an intern position on Friday, 10/6 at McCarthy/Cuba casting. It is no pay, and 9 hours a week, but I would get to see how the casting process works behind the curtain. Also possibly make some new connections. This office casts BIG movies. Check them out here and here. I got a call this morning that they want me, so I'll be starting next Monday 10/16. It should be a great experience!

I'm checking out my new reel tonight. Hopefully I will have it up and running soon.

Took the CBEST test Saturday 10/7, which is a qualifying exam for CA teachers. It was composed of math, reading, and writing and I'm pretty sure I aced it (except maybe for the writing).

Did you know Chris Cooper was 35 before he started getting parts in the biz?

I finally gave in and became a real Californian. I got my license, registration, title, and signed up to vote here. What is the world coming to...
